Top Five Websites for Prom Dresses

By Lillian Whittaker

1.       ASOS- ASOS is a British online fashion store that sells over 850 brands. For pro dresses, ASOS will not leave you with same old prom dress choices. With dresses from $40-$400, you will find a dress that fits in your price range while still making you stand out from the rest.

2.       LuLu’s-  LuLUu’s is an online juniors clothing store with a large variety of trends. This website is my personal pick, (since I have bought three prom dresses from this website). If you have a tight budget but big expectations, check out LuLu’s.

3.       Fame and Partners-Fame and Partners is an online store that focuses solely on special occasion dresses. If you have a wide price range for prom and are aiming for a classy look, this is the store for you.

3.       Missguided- Missguided is a fresh and new British online fashion store. There are not as many dresses to choose from on this website, but if you are attempting to look sleek and trendy at prom and still stay way in your budget, Missguided is for you.

5.       Forever21- Forever21, (if you are living under a rock and do not know), is online and in store. If you want to look good but prom is not your top priority, take a look at Forever21. Take a drive down to the crystal mall and try on some dresses if you are someone who gets online anxiety. There are not as many options, but there is no doubt that they will all be in your price range!

Nails…Nails…Nails

Winter is just around the corner and the trends will be changing. Bold neon nail

colors and pale pastels are dying down and new nail trends are heating. Here are some

unique nails colors that will add a little something special to your winter season style.

GREY

IMG_0947.JPG

Grey is definitely my go-to color for the winter season. It is unique yet timeless. This

charcoal color goes with every outfit while still standing out. There are also many

different shades from light to dark that will look good with any skin tone.

BEIGE

The nude color was seen all over the runway this past summer season. However you

do not need to worry about letting go of the nude nail colors. Beige is the perfect pale

pallet that still looks great in the winter and fall seasons.

NAVY

Winter doesn’t mean your wardrobe has to be solely black, white and bland. Navy is the

perfect pop of color for this winter season. Navy also goes with any wardrobe and skin

tone. This color is the epitome of fall fashion.

MATTE BLACK

This final trend is a total game changer. The matte look can be seen, not only on all the

hippest Kardashians, but also all over the runway. It is a bold trend that looks so classic,

while still making a sassy statement.

Jeans….Jeans….Jeans

When it comes to fall fashion, jeans are a must have. They are classic, timeless and trendy....but

only if you wear them right. The classic skinny jeans are making their way off the runway and making

way for new pant trends. Here are some ideas to spruce up tour denim drawers!

Ripped Jeans If you are looking to spice up your closet, ripped jeans are the perfect dash of diva. They go perfect with  both evening and daywear. With winter around the corner, ripped jeans with a pair of knee-high boots,  will surely be the epitome of winter fashion.

Boyfriend Jeans Boyfriend jeans are not only comfy, but they’re cute too. They can be dressed down with a pair of  athletic shoes for a day on the town, or dressed up with a pair of pumps and a dressy blouse for a night  in the city. These jeans give a twist to the classic tom-girl look.
